Our Roots
Topo Designs was founded in 2008 in Fort Collins, Colorado, by Jedd Rose and Mark Hansen.
What started with a sewing machine in a basement was driven by a clear idea: outdoor gear should be durable, functional, and classic, like the equipment they grew up using, not disposable, trend-driven, or overcomplicated.
From the beginning, the goal wasn’t to chase seasons or hype, but to create gear rooted in utility, craftsmanship, and real-world use. Gear you could trust, repair, and keep using for years.
That mindset still defines everything we do today.
