Lifetime guarantee
Every pack is covered by the MAP Guarantee (lifetime warranty). If something goes wrong, Topo Designs will repair it first. Replacement is a last resort.

Are Topo Designs backpacks carry-on compliant?

What does the lifetime guarantee cover?
Topo Designs' MAP Guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. If your bag develops a fault, the repair team will fix it. Topo prioritises repair over replacement.
What materials are the backpacks made from?
All backpacks use recycled nylon, ranging from 400D to 1680D ballistic nylon depending on the model. Linings are 210D recycled nylon. All fabrics are PFC-Free and certified Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
Which pack fits a 15-inch laptop?
Most Topo backpacks from 18.5L and above include a padded internal laptop sleeve for 15" laptops. The Rover Pack Classic, Commuter Backpack, Light Pack, Daypack Classic, and Rover Pack Tech all fit a 15" laptop. The Rover Pack Mini (10L) does not.
What is the difference between the Rover Pack Classic and the Rover Pack Tech?
The Rover Pack Classic (20L) uses a drawstring cinch closure and 400D nylon. It has a more heritage, outdoor look. The Rover Pack Tech (24.3L) has a full-zip opening, a RidgeBack molded back panel, coated YKK zippers, and dual laptop sleeves (internal and external). The Tech is more structured, the Classic is more casual.
Do you ship to Europe and how much does it cost?
Topo Designs Europe ships to the UK and across the EU. Shipping is free on orders over 80 EUR. Orders placed before noon ship the same day. Payment options include Shopify 3D Secure and PayPal in 4 instalments.
Can I use a Topo backpack for hiking?
The Rover Pack Classic and Klettersack work well for day hikes and weekend outings. They are not technical mountaineering packs. They lack a hip belt, ventilated back panel, and hydration compatibility. For multi-day trekking, a dedicated hiking pack is recommended.
