Despite its remote location, Aspen is accessible year-round. Flying directly into Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) is the most convenient way to get to Aspen. Take CO-82 E to get from the airport to the city center.

Shuttles and rental cars are available regardless of which airport you use. If you’re driving yourself, you’ll approach from the west via CO-82 through Glenwood Springs because the east route closes during winter. Once in Aspen, the free city shuttle system makes exploring easy.
